Corporate Opportunities

Becoming a corporate partner with School Food Matters offers the chance to align with the leading body in school food services in Tasmania.  We work with schools throughout Tasmania to promote best practice for school food service management and a whole school approach to healthy eating. 

School Food Matters can offer a range of uniquely tailored and impactful partnering opportunities that will enhance your organisations brand recognition and meet your values and objectives. 

Partnership opportunities may include:

  • Supporting a nominated program or project such as the SmartFood program or the School Lunch Project
  • Sponsoring a workshop or networking event regionally or statewide
  • Sponsoring a Well Fed Tasmania Van event in an educational or community setting
  • In-kind donations of products or goods

School Food Matters offers an opportunity to donate directly to specific programs or, we can direct your donation to the area of most need.

School Membership

Membership of School Food Matters will provide your school with the following:

  • Support from our highly skilled and friendly Project Officers to implement the SmartFood Award accreditation
  • Professional Development for school food service staff and volunteers and teaching staff.
  • Support and access to current relevant resources on; nutrition, food safety, classroom activities, community linkages, approved food suppliers and school community policy through a variety of mediums,
  • Training, networking, resources and audits for the effective management of a school food service, including financial viability,
  • Opportunity to highlight the positive work in school food service in the latest newsletter and on the website
  • Newsletters each term providing the latest ideas on canteen operation and suitable canteen menus
  • Access to great recipes that meet Green or Amber rating
