Beef Burgers

Delicious, juicy beef burgers.

  • Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons
  • Lean beef mince
  • 1 kilogram
  • Garlic, peeled and finely diced
  • 2 cloves
  • Salt reduced tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons
  • Parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper
  • To taste
  • Wholemeal bread rolls
  • 10 medium

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well with your hands.
  2. Form into 10 equal sized burgers.
  3. Put a frypan over medium heat and cover the base with oil.
  4. Place the burgers into the pan and gently fry for 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown on one side. Turn the burgers over and continue to cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. To serve, place a burger onto each bread roll and top with your favourite salad ingredients.

Try the following salad ingredients: lettuce, grated carrot, beetroot, tomato, pineapple, cucumber, capsicum or red onion.
